Rogue Valley Roses in Martha Stewart Living Magazine
Early last summer we recieved a call from Susan Heeger at Martha Stewart Living magazine who told us she was working on an article on fragrant roses that would be coming out in the Spring of 2009. It was an exciting opportunity to work with such a prestigous magazine, and we sent out several lengthy pieces to Susan in response to her queries, each of which discussed various aspects of our ideas and experience with fragrance in roses. At the end of the summer, we also sent out several large boxes of cut flowers (using the fastest possible shipping!) to the studios in New York for a big photo shoot. The magazine with the article is now on the newstands ("Scents of Time", March, 2009) and although much of the article that mentions RVR directly did not make it into the final edit, you can still see the lovely pictures of RVR roses in the center spread, including Paul Neyron, Lady Hillingdon and Double Delight.
Below is a list of roses we recommended to the editors at Martha Stewart Living as being outstandingly fragrant.
