Shipping and Ordering Information

How to Order Online
Just select your roses, add them to your cart and complete payment right from your own computer. You may also place an order or ask a question by sending us an email at info@roguevalleyroses.com or you may phone or fax us. Our customer service number and our fax number is 541-535-1307.

Our mailing address for payment by check or money order is:
Rogue Valley Roses
P.O. Box 116
Phoenix, OR 97535

Completing Your Order
When ordering by email or phone please have the following information ready:

1. The names of the roses and the quantity of each you wish to order
2. Your name, address, email address, and phone number for billing
3. A shipping name, address, and phone number if different from the billing address above
4. The approximate date you want us to ship your roses (We ship on Monday except for West Coast shipments which go out on Tuesday.)
5. Your method of payment.

Our Privacy Policy
All shared personal information is confidential. Rogue Valley Roses does not use your information for any reason other than to process your order. Credit card information is destroyed immediately after processing your order.

Paying for Your Order
We accept personal checks, money orders and credit cards. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars. When ordering by credit card we will need the billing address for the card and the phone number you have given the card company as well as the identification number (usually the last three digits in fine print from the back of the card). We ship at the time you request after we receive and clear your payment. Delayed Shipping is available.

Our Guarantees
We guarantee our plants to be healthy, accurately labeled, and ready to grow. We ask that you notify us within two weeks of receiving your order if there is a problem and we will replace the rose at no cost to you.

If you have followed our care recommendations after that time, and a plant fails to grow, and you report it to us within three months, we will provide a replacement and ask that you cover shipping costs. We do not guarantee plants that have perished through failure to follow good cultural practices or through extremes of weather. We do not guarantee winter survival.

Please notify us if any rose you received from us shows signs of Rose Mosaic Virus, whatever the length of time after purchase, and we will replace it or credit your account, including shipping.

Pot Sizes and Prices
We sell plants in:
3x3x6" bands priced at $12.50 and $15
1 gallon pots priced at $14.50 and $18
5 gallon pots priced at $25.00 and $30

Our 5 gallon plants are removed from the pot with the root ball intact which is then wrapped in plastic. This cuts weight and saves you money on shipping. There is an $8 handling fee per plant that covers the additional worker time required to prepare a 5 gallon plant for shipment.

Some varieties are available in very limited quantities, or in one size only. We encourage you to provide alternate choices with your order.

Current Specials
During the month of October buy 10 roses and choose 1 of our $12.50 bands as a free gift. At the end of the ordering process, a window will appear for you to tell us which free band you would like. In the same input box, you may let us know if you would like 2 free roses from us that have lost their labels.

American Rose Society members, Heritage Rose Foundation members, and Heritage Rose Group Members
We are now offering a 10% discount to all members of the American Rose Society, the Heritage Rose Foundation, and the Heritage Rose Groups. Just send us an email with your member number or proof of membership along with your order and we will deduct your discount after validating your membership. The discount does not apply to reduced price roses and cannot be combined with special offers for free roses.

Shipping
Orders go out on the first two or three shipping days of the week to avoid sitting in hot or cold warehouses on the weekend. Orders to the East Coast ship by Priority Mail on Mondays; orders to the West Coast ship on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

We honor requests for shipment year round. However, we reserve the right to halt or delay shipment at any time due to weather. We do not ship during the week of Thanksgiving, the last two weeks of December, or the week prior to Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or Labor Day.

Our roses are grown from cuttings and are on their own roots. Once well rooted, they are grown outdoors in our Zone 7/8 climate. They do not need the kind of treatment that roses shipped from greenhouses require, but may need acclimatizing or protection in a structure if your zone is colder than ours.

We ask that you use good judgment about weather in your area, and en route, when requesting a shipping date. Roses are extremely resilient and usually may be revived when they do suffer shipping stress, though a plant may require time (up to a month) to regrow its leaves.

Delayed Shipping
Delayed shipping is available year round. We will overwinter orders for our northern customers. We ask our customers to specify a shipping date. Payment is due at the time delayed shipping orders are placed.

Click here if you have questions about fall planting which requires knowledge of your zone. Note that our guarantees do not include winter survival.

Our roses overwinter outdoors in our mild, with occasional zingers, Zone 8a climate. Depending on when we get really cold weather, our roses are shipped semi-dormant in their pots in November and February, dormant in December and January, and, actively growing the rest of the year.

Special quantity discounts do not apply when you change your order after it is placed.

Shipping and Handling Fees
Shipping and handling fees reflect our costs for labor and packaging, and the rates charged us by the shipping carrier. We reserve the right to increase shipping charges at any time, without warning, due to increased carrier rates, fuel surcharges, or other increases in expense. We routinely ship by USPS Priority Mail which usually delivers through the week and on Saturday. Special shipping options are available at regular USPS rates for those services, including express shipping. Call or email us to arrange special shipping options.

*** You will not be charged a sales tax or special agricultural fees.***

There is a $5 handling fee, per order, to cover labor and materials, and, for 5 gallons only, there is an $8 handling fee per rose.

The best way to calculate the shipping charges for your order is to pick the roses you want, enter your shipping information and then let our online system calculate the exact shipping charges for you. You can change your order around as you shop and the system will quickly recalculate the shipping charges as you go. Ordering multiple roses will bring down the average cost of shipping each rose.
