Adding to Your Order After it is Placed
As new inventories are posted you may email, or call in, additions to an existing order right up to the Friday before shipping as new inventories are announced. This also applies to orders being held in delayed shipping for our northern customers.
Our Privacy Policy
All shared personal information is confidential. Rogue Valley Roses does not use your information for any reason other than to process your order. Credit card information is destroyed immediately after processing your order.
Paying for Your Order
We accept personal checks, money orders and credit cards. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars. When ordering by credit card we will need the billing address for the card and the phone number you have given the card company as well as the identification number (usually the last three digits in fine print from the back of the card).
We ship at the time you request after we receive and clear your payment. Delayed Shipping is available.
Our Guarantees
We guarantee our plants to be healthy, accurately labeled, and ready to grow. We ask that you notify us within two weeks of receiving your order if there is a problem and we will replace the rose at no cost to you.
If you have followed our care recommendations after that time, and a plant fails to grow, and you report it to us within three months, we will provide a replacement and ask that you cover shipping costs. We do not guarantee plants that have perished through failure to follow good cultural practices or through extremes of weather. We do not guarantee free roses and we do not guarantee winter survival.
Please notify us if any rose you received from us shows signs of Rose Mosaic Virus, whatever the length of time after purchase, and we will replace it or credit your account, including shipping.
There are no agricultureal fees or sales tax on any of our orders.
Pot Sizes and Prices
We sell plants in:
3x3x6" bands priced at $12.50, $13.50, $15.50 and $19.50. A few bands are at $23.50.
1 gallon pots are priced at $16.50 and $19.50, with a few at $23.50.

Our 5 gallon plants are removed from the pot with the root ball intact which is then wrapped in plastic. This cuts weight and saves you money on shipping. There is an $8 handling fee per plant that covers the additional worker time required to prepare a 5 gallon plant for shipment.
Some varieties are available in very limited quantities, or in one size only. We encourage you to provide alternate choices with your order.
Shipping
Orders go out on the first two or three shipping days of the week to avoid sitting in hot or cold warehouses on the weekend. Orders to the East Coast ship by Priority Mail on Monday and Tuesday; orders to the West Coast ship on Tuesday or Wednesday. Orders are received in 1-3 days after shipping.
We honor requests for shipment year round. However, we reserve the right to halt or delay shipment at any time due to weather. We do not ship during the week of Thanksgiving, the last two weeks of December, or the week prior to Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or Labor Day.
Our roses are grown from cuttings and are on their own roots. Once well rooted, they are grown outdoors in our Zone 7/8 climate. They do not need the kind of treatment that roses shipped from greenhouses require, but they may need acclimatizing or protection in a structure if your zone is colder than ours.
We ask that you use good judgment about weather in your area, and en route, when requesting a shipping date. Roses are extremely resilient and usually may be revived when they do suffer shipping stress, though a plant may require time (up to a month) to regrow its leaves.
Year Round Shipping
We continue to ship roses of all sizes in their pots year round. Delayed shipping is available on any size of pot year round.
Our 5 gallon plants are removed from the pot with the root ball intact which is then wrapped in plastic. This cuts weight and saves you money on shipping. There is an $8 handling fee per plant that covers the additional worker time required to prepare a 5 gallon plant for shipment.
Delayed Shipping
Delayed shipping is available year round. We will overwinter orders for our northern customers. We ask our customers to specify a shipping date. Payment is due at the time delayed shipping orders are placed. You may add to a delayed shipping order anytime without additional charges.
Click here if you have questions about fall planting which requires knowledge of your zone. Note that our guarantees do not include winter survival.
Our roses overwinter outdoors in our mild, with occasional zingers, Zone 8a climate. Depending on when we get really cold weather, our roses are shipped semi-dormant in their pots in November and February, dormant in December and January, semi-dormant in February and early March, and, actively growing the rest of the year.
Shipping and Handling Fees
Shipping and handling fees reflect our costs for labor and packaging, and the rates charged us by the shipping carrier. We reserve the right to increase shipping charges at any time, without warning, due to increased carrier rates, fuel surcharges, or other increases in expense. We routinely ship by USPS Priority Mail which delivers through the week and on Saturday. Special shipping options are available at regular USPS rates for those services, including express shipping. Call or email us to arrange special shipping options.
The best way to calculate the shipping charges for your order is to pick the roses you want, enter your shipping information and then let our online system calculate the exact shipping charges for you. You can change your order around as you shop and the system will quickly recalculate the shipping charges as you go. Ordering multiple roses will bring down the average cost of shipping each rose.
*** You will not be charged a sales tax or special agricultural fees.***
There is a $5 handling fee, per order, to cover labor and materials, and, for 5 gallons only, there is an $8 handling fee per rose.
We are open to customers on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 to 6:00 for pickup of orders previously placed online or over the phone.
Call or email us for directions or for an appointment to visit at another time.
